Guest guest
Good Morning, We have a rather emergent situation with one of our recipients. Her dialysis is failing and she needs a kidney transplant asap. She has 11 borthers and sisters and all of them have called in along with some of their spouses to be worked up as donors. The recipient has Medicare as primary and Medicaid as secondary. Does anyone know if there are any rules from Medicare as to how many donors can be worked up at one time??? We are doing the inital cross match on all of them to find out which ones are most compatible but think there will be at least 7 or 8 who wil be a match for her and we need to find out as soon as possible if there are any guidelines as to how many of them we can do at one time. Any input would be greatly appreciated !!!!! Thank you in advance!!! Dana Trujillo Sanford Transplant Sioux Falls, SD Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
