Guest guest
Have you tried giving her the one word mand for each specific thing she likes to eat. If you are about to give her an apple..have her mand " Apple " or if its juice.. " Juice " This is commong for them to make things easier on themselves to use a generalized MAND for an action or a object.. ... Try to get the specific one word mand for the specific item.. Hi list, My 5 years old is non verbal . right now she says the word " eat, eat, eat, eat " over and over again, because she is saying this word we would like her to start to use it with its proper meaning. so, wherever she says " eat " over and over , I tell her to say " eat " and then I give her some food right away. but , the problem is that sometimes she says " eat, eat, eat , eat " even when she is not hungry and does not want any food. My question is: how can I get her to use this word only when she really wants to eat??. I realy appreciate any suggestions. __________________________________________________
