Hi all....we're teaching in themes now. We're finding it more effecient and

I think it mirrors a normal teaching situation. [What are talking about?

animals (macro category)...point to the one with a beak (TFFC)...name some

animals that jump (intraverbal category)...hey what's an animal that swims

(intraverbal)...let's sort animals that live at the zoo and on the farm].

This is generally how it goes. I have a master list of per category that we

work from (attached). Probing happens off this list and then targets go on

the white board. I've also attached a one pager on how I think about VB for

your interest. Good luck! Dina

[ ] probing through ABLLS H

Hello everyone.

We are currently in the process of probing through and updating the ABLLS

for two of the kids I work with and I was wondering if anyone had a good

list of 50 who, what, where, when, why and how questions, or knew of

somewhere to find one. The general time consuming nature of creating a list

is slightly overwhelming currently and i am hoping that someone out there is

willing to share their knowledge with me.

I am also wondering how people are choosing what targets they are working on

for Intraverbals. We seem to do a good job of starting off with targets

that are connected or webbed, but we always get off track. How are other

people keeping themselves focused on themes or webs? How do you work on the

details but keep the big picture in mind?

Thank you all for your time and input.

Not sure if you are asking for a list of questions for the child to respond

to or a list of how you'll get a child to ask the questions? Here's the

latter for advanced manding in the natural environment. I've broken out by

rooms in the house as I think it is best to post them where the EO is most

likely to occur. Dina
