Guest guest
Dear List, We are conducting a word learning study at New York University investigating how children with autism learn words mapped to pictures and objects; specifically whether children are associatively pairing words, pictures and objects, or whether they understand the symbolic relation between them. We are seeking children aged 6-9 with limited communicative ability for participation. Studies are consistent with discrete trials learning and are conducted at NYU or via home visits. Benefits include a better understanding of what strategies your child uses to learn words and a contribution to the field of language research. In addition, you will receive language, adaptive behavior and IQ assessments for your records. For more information, please contact at (212) 998-3895 or via email (mla9166@...). Thank you very much for your interest!
