Guest guest
Before anyone considers putting their child on any type of drug, I encourage you to read the following. My brother is among the top in the world in MRI.... there is a great deal out there that doctors " pretend to know " but, really, we know very very little about the human brain and how it functions. I'm not saying that medications are not necessary at times, but, I do hope that parents will be informed about some of the information I put on my web site regarding many of the so called " brain studies " out there! Make sure you understand the variables you are not told in these " studies " ... at times, it is what you aren't told that may matter most! Drug companies have a lot at stake in convincing parents they have all the answers (or even a lot of them) when it comes to the brain. Be informed...and know what questions to ask when the first thing out of a neurologists mouth is " well, we could put him/her on medication " .... this link should give you a good " starting point " for some of the issues you need to be aware of as they relate to the brain! http://www.autismhelpforyou.com/QuestionEverything!.htm Jeanne A.
