Parent Educational Resource Provider

Hello List,

My name is Rose and I live in southern Wisconsin. I am a parent with an

associates degree in Nursing, I have a child diagnosed with PDD-NOS,

homeschool provider and support group facilitator. I have attended two

workshops by Dr. Mark Sundberg, two workshops by Dr. Carbone, I am a PEP

(Parent Education Project) volunteer, I completed a 5-session Parents in

Partnership training and attended the Wisconsin Circles of Life conference

2001 and will be attending Circles of Life tomorrow in Madison, WI. I will

be pursuing a bachelors degree in either Psychology or Education this summer

and/or fall. During my journey of homeschooling our 7 year old son, I have

gained many educational resources, created resources and adjusted resources

to curriculum I have access to for our son. Parents know their children the

best and I want to provide adapted resources for parents and their children.

Many workbooks at Walmart and Target are good workbooks but they are not

simple are " tailor made " for our child's individual abilities. Catalog

products for kids like ours cost a lot of money and that is self

explanatory...a lot of parents just don't have that kind of money. The

internet is a great resource but it takes a LOT of time to search link after

link after link. Some parents do not have internet access and you may refer

them to me by giving them this e-mail printed and I will talk with them by

phone. I will do this on a referral basis only. If you know someone that

fits this category then e-mail me privately and we will discuss what to do

from there. I am a parent first and I will NOT charge a lot of money. I

will charge a flat fee and consult with you about what you feel your child

needs. Any interested parents/providers that contact me will get a list of

my resources and see a sample of what I have designed for our son. Payments

need to be by money order only and I must receive it before I send you your

completed materials. Payment includes my time, printed resources, materials

to provide the resources, shipping and handling. The length of time it will

take to get you your educational resources depends on what your child needs.
