Guest guest
: 's twin sister, Hannah (17 mos) is really to young to understand the differences in her and her brother, but my other children do know about the down syndrome and we've tried our best to help them understand everything. For the most part, I would say they treat just like any other sibling, except for all the medical issues he has. Our 7 yr. old doesn't really say much about , she just loves him as her brother and hates when he is in the hospital. Our 13 yr. old son has really expressed an interest in DS and has taken on the role of making sure everyone knows that retarded does not equal stupid-a big issue with his friends, I guess. Our 14 yr. old daughter is a whole different story-not like anyone else. I know she loves her siblings, but she's the oldest and seems to resent the fact that any of them would have my attention instead of her. It seems no matter how much time I spend with her, it's never enough. I've had to spend a lot of time with the twins and she's had a lot of problems dealing with this. I could go on for hours about this, but I don't want to bore you. I do believe that our DS children should be treated as much like our other children as possible. We have said " NO " to just like we do Hannah. I think the more I expect out of , the farther he'll exceed. Just my 2 cents worth. Later! Guest guest
Hi , puter went down and I lost addresses. Sadly, I have not felt any better either. I must say that, while I was told by at least 3 Dr's that they felt this would help me, when I talked to Dr Solario and Dr A, I was told " you know there's no guarentee this will help you. " Of course, I knew that to be the truth. Absolutely everything I have tried was at the behest of someone who had received great benefits. Me, so far, nodda. Then too, I went back last week and they had to surgically remove a bone fragment, and two amalgem tattoos. So, I'm back to the healing stage. The second surgery was in Dec, when they removed my bottom teeth. After that I was toast for 2 months. Did I have a real flu, or was it the CFIDS kicked up. I don't know......... What I do know, is that I react differently to treatments, than those who have encouraged them. I haven't given up hope, it just may take me longer. Here's hoping we both feel better soon! Guest guest
Hi , Do you know of anyone with CFS that benefitted greatly with tooth extractions? Did you do any detox before the surgery? I did not but am doing the kidney and parasite cleanse now. I am going to do the flushes soon too. The other thing we may be missing is mercury toxicity. I have never given this serious thought until after the tooth extractions; but that may be what is holding me back. Have you done any mercury (and other metals) chelation? Guest guest
Hi Norma, I'm getting a sense that the sinuses could be a crucial factor too. You never hear this discussed. My left nose is chronically blocked and the xray shows my left sinus is dropped. Just wanted to share this with you...if the teeth were indeed toxic, I can see how it would be easy for the toxins to penetrate the sinuses. Guest guest
>3 1/2 year old cat presenting with allergic asthma. He tests allergic to >his own dander, pollens and grasses. He is an indoor cat but is probably >getting exposed to the pollens etc from the dogs in the house. Hi , For mostI felines with Asthma we suggest homeopathic Aconite 200C. A dose on body every 2 hours, rpt for 3 to 4 depending on response and acute symptoms. Aslo provide a 100% natural diet ie raw meat with a little mashed pumpkin. Avoid all drug/chemical products and medicines and over time your cat's immune system will strengthen. Even a pinch of chelated Zinc (crushed) in daily meals will assist the immune system as well. Let us know how you get on with this.
