Guest guest
Hi - would love to hear some responses on how you manage/track your Generalization? I've surfed the archives but haven't come up with a whole lot. My area in question now is RFFCs. For example, ball - you throw; Once that's mastered at the table with a card, I'm assuming I then generalize with 1) different pictures of balls; 2) different object balls; 3) go outside and say " show me the one you throw " . #3 is where I struggle. If he doesn't comply, is it because he doesn't know how to follow the instruction in natural environment; or he doesn't know how to generalize to the ball in the backyard? Do we actually teach generalization like we did in Acquisition using prompts and reinforcers. So on our probe sheet the answer is NO for generalization until he can do that skill independently? I would love to hear your responses and especially love to see a probe sheet you use for Generalization? Thanks Kim.
