Hello all,

My son is 3 1/2 and has autism spectrum disorder. I started him in our county

school system 6 months ago and he had regressed considerably and made no

progress towards meeting goals as of yet. I hired a CABA to start a home program

in Verbal Behavior/ABA and his progress is beginning to climb. I have gone

through 5 IEP meetings and 1 mediation hearing trying to get them to be

consistant. I have offered to pay for the training myself and to do the bulk of

the work at home. They have refused and all that they have offered up is that

they need him for more hours than the six that they are presently getting and

they want to have an independant program evaluation. The person that they

offered up is a gun for hire that has presented at LRP conferences on how the

school system can build a defendable autism program and win against parents

doing a home ABA program. They don't know that I know this yet, but the people

that I suggested to do the program evaluation are too busy (i.e. Carbone and

McGreevie).

Cutting to the chase: I need a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to contract

with my school system to do the program evaluation. If anyone knows of someone

that could do this and does not have a 6 to 12 month waiting list please email
