Guest guest
For those who are unaware, you can send messages directly to someone rather than to the whole group. This is what Will is asking, so that interpersonal chatter is kept to a minimum. Some people get individual messages and to receive endless " Me too " kinds of messages is probably very annoying. Say So-And-So writes a message to the group announcing a product is available. To send a message directly to that person, follow these steps: 1. Bring up the message by the person you wish to send a private note to. 2. Click " Reply. " 3. Notice that a new window will open and there is a drop down menu in the " To: " line. Click the little gray arrow and 3 options are offered: a message to the entire group; to the person who wrote the original message; and to the Owner of Trad Foods list (in this case, Will). 4. Select the name of the person you wish to respond to. 5. Write your message and then click the blue Send button at the bottom. 6. The person will receive a private email from you with your question or concern. The two of you can chat in private to your heart's content from this point on. 7. Don't forget to trim the irrelevant words in your note! ~Joe > > COME ON,, YOU GUYS! These are classic examples of " ONE-TO-ONE " messages that clutter > and degrade our discussion group....
