Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am working with an almost-3 year old little boy who is non-verbal and making progress with sign language. My question is: Does anyone have experience with dealing with enlarged adenoids (tonsils, right?). This little boy's mom and I were talking and he has definitely been identified as having them and his mom's next step is to record his sleeping to see if apnea is occurring. You can hear him breathing across the room at any time during the day - and he snores loudly at night. I'm concerned / wondering if this condition could be causing a vocalization problem as well. He has some vocalizations such as " uh " and other vowel sounds but no babbling of consonants, etc...Just something I would like to rule out as we push for more and more vocalizations. If you have any insight, let me know. Thanks, Libby Majewski stown, NJ __________________________________________________
