Hello all,

The Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati is excited about our May 3, 2002

workshop by Dr. Gerhardt. It's titled " Who's Life is it Anyway? It's

Never Too Early " (Preparing the Child with ASD for Adulthood)

Dr. Gerhardt, formerly with Rutgers, is Executive Director of Nassau Suffolk

Services for Autism in Levitown, NY. He is a nationally known expert on

tranistion planning as a lifetime process. An overview of skill development

across the life span in order to develop an increasingly positive, individually

determined quality of life will be covered.

Dr. Gerhardt is a great presenter, very informative and humorous, as well.

Registration begins at 8:00am. Workshop runs from 8:30 - 3:30pm. The cost is

only $25.00, which INCLUDES continental breakfast, Lunch and mid-afternoon snack

WOW!! We hope by keeping the cost minimal, everyone who is interested will be

able to attend. Location is Drake Conference Center, 151 West Galbraith Rd.,

Cincinnati Ohio 45216.

Registrations must be returned by April 22. You can request a registration form

by calling The Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati at 513-636-7203.

This workshop will help answer those questions we all have about " where are we

going?, what's important to target?, how do we define a quality life? " and

more. It will be informative for parents of children of all ages within the ASD

spectrum.

Judy
