VB Workshop in NY

I have been attending the 3 day workshop with Dr Carbone on Verbal Behavior

For those of you who missed it I HIGHLY recommend attending ny upcoming

workshops that he does have

He is AMAZING. It is a life changing experience (check out drcarbone.net for

workshop scheduals)

And I have learned more (as has my teachers who the WHOLE team is attending)

than I have ever known when it comes to functional language

I am just blown away with the video footage and the misinterpretation that I HAD

as well as I beleive alot of the ABA community is on WHAT ABA is..As well as the

horrible teaching procedures many NY agencies are training our staff in..

If you cant see Dr carbone WHO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FIRST OFF..

We will also be hosting Dr ccarbones #4 workshop and will hopefully in the near

future (will MAY be as late as NEXT year) to have Dr carbone do a intro on Long

Island

There are parents and professional leaving there in tears as well as STOPPING

their programming in progress.. It is trully overwhelming..as well as MANY

questioning their past, present and future teaching methods.

Dr Carbones workshop is the most comprehensive I have EVER ATTENDED . IT leaves

you EMPOWERED and extremely knowledgable in dealing with unwilling learners and

self stimulatory or task avodant escape beahviors and most importantly teaching

FUNCTIONAL communication (including sign)

IT is unreal..and it has been the BEST 3 days of my ABA life! I have a very

DETAILED OVERALL understanding of ABA and verbal operants than I ever could have

had..

I cannot stress this enough.. I am completley over whelmed.. I thought I knew

everything from past consulatntions as well as all the literature I have read

and heard ob him. (I have been implementing a VB w ithout being at this intro.)

It is NOT the same as to see him in person!

I now have TRUE understanding of WHAT and why I am doing it.. My son HAS been

beneiftting even though I didnt have a complete understanding..

But now more than ever I know I am giving him the BEST that is out there .
