Are you sure they are allergies? It sounds a bit like mange which is caused by

a tiny louse. A friend of ours had a cat that was near death because it had

lost all its hair and kept digging itsself raw, the vet stuff didn't help.

Within days of using DE he called and said he could pet the cat again and its

hair was growing back. If you can get some food grade diatomaceous earth, dust

him and see if it helps. If you can't find any, email me off list and I will

send you some. If it IS allergies some CLO should help. June
