Guest guest
Hi All, If anybody of you are having migraines, please try to avoid coffee & MSG food or food products like Chips & Dips. "If you can't eat MSG: by: MomoBe aware that it is often found by other names or in ingredients.Look out for Hydrolyzed vegetable proteinHydrolyzed proteinHydrolyzed plant proteinSodium caseinateCalcium caseinateYeast extractTVP (Texturized protein)Autolyzed yeastThis list is not complete but it is a reminder that many processed foods have MSG as an ingredient.Lots of broths and boullions are also full of MSG." -------------You can find this at: http://www.mrssurvival.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat & Number=156147 & page=1#Post156147**************************
Guest guest
Hello , Migraines can be triggered by many things. Stress, for example, is a potent trigger. I used to suffer from migraines for years and food could set me off, so could my monthly cycle, the weather, stress, dehydration, etc. Of course this program will help her heal whatever issues in her body are manifesting as migraines. Headaches of any kind are a symptom, not a problem themselves. By treating the underlying issues, your niece can really enjoy robust health, so I would encourage her to give it a go. My migraines are gone; I haven't had them since going on the diet. I don't have a success story on this for the website, but feel free to use me as an example when you talk to her, if you wish. For a while I used to get them on a weekly basis - really crippling. No more It would probably also be beneficial for your niece to do deep breathing exercises to switch over to her parasympathetic nervous system. If she is running on stress, as many people are these days, chances are good her sympathetic system is running her entire system ragged. These exercises are incredibly easy and take very little time. See these articles: Deep Breathing Exercises Help you Heal Breathing Exercises and Self Healing I also do Tai Chi, which is wonderful for bringing the body to the parasympathetic system. Best, andra, a group moderator I've done a search on Bee's site for migraines. I've got a niece who is having treatment right now for serious migraines and I'm wondering if following Bee's plan might help her. I don't see any success stories on migraines on her site (altho I do see one posted on the group since I joined in March 2010). Niece says she has changed her diet, checked algeries, etc. But I do not know to what extent she has 'changed' her diet... Thanks
Guest guest
Hei , The others gave you all ready all the informations, but I still would like to share that I was having heavy migraines when still taking the contraceptive pill some years ago, and I still use/used to get them close to my days, really nasty ones with beeing so nauseous and sometimes even vomiting. so my little success story: the " women suffering " is already much less, I wasnt having migraines the last 2 times, just a slight headache which wasok to treat with white willow bark capsules (those: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/resource/iherb.php). As andra said, the trigger can be something else, but most of the people I know having them once in a while have it due to hormonal disturbances like days or stress. So maybe this is not a dramatic success-story, but when it stays like that than it will be soon So tell her to give the program a try, because all the painkillers might become unnecessary soon!! Greetings, Tini
