Thank you June. I will look into DE and see what I can find. The only

reason I think the problem may be skin allergies is because that is

what the vet told me. I have to say I don't particularly trust the

vets, mostly because I feel like they tend to give a standard

medication to cure anything and everything, instead of digging a

little deeper to see what the root of the problem is. That's one of

the reasons I posted the question here. It's extremely difficult, at

least it has been for me, to find help for animals if you don't want

to just give them standard meds and vaccines. I am raising my family

in the traditional way, primarely following Weston Price, so it only

makes sense to also raise my animals in a more traditional way.

Right now I just want the little guy to get healthy. Everyday he is

getting worse. He hasn't lost fur yet, but he is scratching and

licking like crazy. I hate to see him so miserable, especially this

early in the season.

Thank you also Jeanne. I will check out the websites you wrote of. My

dog has no problem with the raw diet, I just want to make sure I'm

giving him the proper nutrition. Actually, he will probably eat just

about anything, as long as he thinks it's human food! (:

I read so much about how we as humans should eat, but it seems like

there is little info. on how to feed our pets and then you have to

figure our who's right and who's wrong.
