How does your district pay therapists? How much do they pay?

We have been working with our district for 5 months regarding our

son's educational program. Over the summer, they paid for our home

ABA/VB program at the current rate our therapists were charging. Now

that the school year is starting, they are saying that they will only

pay them the equivalent of a classroom aide because they are not

certified teachers. This is only 1/3 of what they had been

previously paying. I was hoping to find out from others how much

their districts pay for their home program therapists either

professionals or non. I am also interested in finding out if any

districts are hiring therapists as subcontractors rather than

employees of the district. If you could email me your story at

variety of options to present to our district so that we can come to
