Guest guest
Reg Reynolds You asked for suggestions, so here are a couple. Get a copy of " Teaching Language to Children with Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities " (by Sundberg and Partington) and the accompanying ABLLS material, and a copy of " Autism/Asperger's/Solving the Relationship Puzzle " (by Gutstein) and his accompanying workbook (the one containing suggestions for working with children). That will give you lots of new and important stuff to work on. > From: paola <ciaociao2000@...> > Subject: NEED HELP FROM ITALY > > Hello to all, > I am Paola, mother of Gianmarco, autistic child ,4 1/2 > years. We are Italian, and we need help because ABA in > Italy don't exist!!!! > My consultant come from Norway but unfortunately only > every 2-3 months.I have used with Gianmarco the > book " work in progress " but, because my son was > advanced, we mastered soon all the book(except the > dialogue, that he isn't able to do). Guest guest
For more advanced language skills, I recommend 6) Teach Me Language: A Language Manual for Children with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and Related Developmental Disorders by Freeman, Lorelei Dake (1996) SKF Books; ISBN: 0965756505 A thorough and detailed curriculum for expanding your child's programs to include social language, general knowledge, grammar, syntax, and academic language. > >Message: 2 > Date: Sun, 07 Jul 2002 16:42:01 -0400 > From: Reg Reynolds <rmreynolds@...> >Subject: Re: ABA in Italy > >Reg Reynolds > >You asked for suggestions, so here are a couple.
