Guest guest
Hi, I've figured out how to deal with my sons separation anxiety issue. I thought I'd post it. I remember someone knew of a child with anxiety. Eddie calls me a thousand times a day to see where I am. I told him that it was 2:30 (he knows time) that he could call me at 3:00--so he did. 3:00 came around and he says " MOM WHERE ARE YOU " . So I rewarded him for calling me at 3:00. Then I said, now you can't call me until 4:00. So he's checking the time to see when he can call me. I guess this is giving him some control over the situation and me some control over how many times a day he can call me. It seems to be working out good!
