Ext. for Attn. seeking causing escape??

Does anyone know of any research that shows that when an attention

seeking behavior (scratching, hair pulling ) is put on extinction

the aversiveness of demands increases causing an increase in escape

motivated behaviors (biting)?

Any suggestions?
