Guest guest
I just saw your post and I cannot bear to think of a kiddo screaming and crying himself to sleep - horrible. If you want to try to get in to see Dr. Goldberg in LA - and look into the NIDS route instead of the DAN one since you cannot tell what supps might be causing all this suffering, et me know if we can help. Our house is humble, but you have a place to stay in order to get to the appointment/s. Barring that...I would think bacteria and parasites and I would try going all SCD legal foods only for alt least three months if you have not done so yet....this ended the sort of behavior you describe for us, at least the extremes. Thorne vitamins sells SF277 it is castor bean oil essentially and a great weapon against candida and bacteria and they also have berberine for bacteria...I would bring that in rightr away...and I would contact humaworm, desvribe his history and his symptoms and see if there are any matches to a possible parasite issue. Hope that helps....good luck. Grains and carbs and starches gave Matt HORRENDOUS night terrors and inflammation before we figured out what was happening...now we have a calm and happy sleeper with terrible bowel issues/IBS, but no more screaming and crying at bedtime. LOL. Di
Guest guest
Thank you so much for the offer Di, that is more than generous. I spoke with last night and she got me back on track. We were still basically SCD but he had those few GF snacks thrown in. We think a big cause may have been the BED SuperGreens that are high in oxalates. I think this may be an issue for him so I'll see how he does without them. And also all corn products will go now. Saturday night was just so horrible, I don't ever want to see him go through that again. We will be going to the holistic doc and I really believe she has the skills to help my kids recover. So my son won't be happy with the lack of snacks now but he will feel much better. I am also going to see if the holistic doc can order the lab to check for Pandas before we actually see her so we have the results when we are there. I think that may be at the core of both my kids problems. Thanks so much for your email....You have all h elped me so much. Without all I have learned from other people online, my kids would be nowhere near where they are now. Guest guest
I will definitely let you know how that goes. I hate to get my hopes up but I can't help it! This will be the first time I take the kids to a doctor that should understand all this. -------------- Original message -------------- Let me know what you learn and how it goes......>> Thank you so much for the offer Di, that is more than generous.
