So today Freddie spent some of his earnings on

the Wii game system.

Where was this stuff when we were kids? It's insane. The kid took to it like a

fly to sugar?? Left and right hand at the same time. I on the other hand am

just not quite that coordinated yet. He didn't even need directions. Scary. Oh

and the language that is flowing out of his mouth while he is playing. He is so

excited he is just giving us play by play action narrating???

Is my kid the only Wii freak out there? I wonder if this means I can get my lap

top back now?

We will try the tennis once we can pry his hands off the remote! Too funny!!!! He's only played the Spongebob Creature from the Crusty Crab game. I am sure I will be hearing about this in his sleep all night........;-)

How old was Danny when you got him the system? Freddie turns 7 on 1 Aug.

Nolan is a Wii Sports

addict. He even scores better at bowling than his daddy (who used to be a

semi pro!) Oh and he loves Lego Star Wars.

Mac is 10 and loves the Wii. His favorite is Wii Sports and he's better at baseball than any of us. I can barely hit the ball and he hits homerun after homerun. He's also really good at bowling and tennis. He is starting to enjoy the Wii Fit, too. He's getting pretty good at the balance exercises, the step aerobics and he really likes the jogging section (ugh). I think it's a great activity--especially for him as he tends to be a couch potato.

We have the " sports " pkg game that came with it. The bowling game and many

other sports are in it. My son loves Spiderman and has that game.

We just got it a few months ago. We told the kids if they wanted

it, they would have to buy it, because it was so expensive;-)

So the 4 who wanted it pooled their money and bought it

(including Danny)

We found like new games and controllers at Goodwill for $8-12,

which helped a lot, too.
