Very interesting. I am interested in this too. I don't think she has a

kid though? Then again, I don't follow celebrities so what do I know?

Hello all,

I saw a report on the Nightly News with Tom Brokaw which showed

in her best role ever. As a strong advocate for Rett Syndrome, our

sisters on the Autism Spectrum. It was moving and compassionate. She was

moved to tears as she begged on behalf of the little girl (Abigail Brodsky)

with whom she fell in love with while filming the documentary " Silent

Angels " who died as victim of this disorder at the age of 10 and on behalf

of all of the women and little girls suffering from this disorder. I

searched MSNBC Nightly News and CNN to see if there was any video feed or

write ups, but to my disappointment there were none. I did however find this

link:

http://www.rettsyndrome.org/

which discusses her connection with Rett Syndrome. I was deeply touched as

the parent of my little boy who is on the Autism Spectrum. She was begging

for more funding for research and treatment. There agenda for their visit to

congress today was shown here and there will probably be follow-up soon and

hopefully some video feed. Talk about Must See TV!

Here's a website that I ran across that actually has some video/audio feed

from 's testimony:

http://story.news./news?tmpl=story & cid=529 & ncid=762 & e=4 & u=/ap/20020

509/ap_en_ce/people_roberts_2

See the link below her picture. You can also visit the IRSA website, which

they have updated, for some reading material on the testimony:

http://www.rettsyndrome.org/

Check it out, very touching and compelling. My only disappointment was that

Autism Spectrum Disorders were not given much attention at all by Ms.

. Yet a doctor that testified did mention the link to ASDs.
