ABA Waiver, cost estimates, etc

Hello, all.

Thanks to all who have responded regarding the cost estimates for

institutionalization. I have received the figure that I need specific to an

ICF/MR facility here in Ohio.

Additionally, please keep a good thought in mind - on Monday the 13th, Dr.

Jacquie Wynn of Children's Autism Clinic in Columbus, OH and I, of Dad, will

present a proposal to the budget committee for the Ohio Department of Jobs and

Family Services to request funding for all children with an autism diagnosis to

get Intensive Behavioral Intervention services funded in a working partnership

between the state and our local county boards of MR/DD.

A lot of people have provided really good input. We have a cross-section of

virtually the entire state - I'd still like someone to check in from North East

Ohio - Youngstown, Cleveland, Warren, Akron, etc. - as we haven't had a lot of

input from that part of the state.
