AVB programs in Nassau County --Please Help!!

Hi all,

I have a 3.9 year old son with PDD. We are currently living in

Rockland County where he is enrolled in an ABA pre-school class with

an emphasis on AVB. He is in a 6:1:5 class room and receives 1:1

NET 6 times a day (1/2 hour sessions).

Since we will have to move to Long Island and most likely Nassau

County and more specifically Plainview we are investigating AVB

programs that we can send him to. Does anyone have any experience

in the Plainview –Old-Beth Page School District? Anyone know first

hand the pre-schools available in the area? Any schools worth

investigating?

I have been told that there are no such programs and that it would

be best to home school my son.

Advice would be greatly appreciated….
