Guest guest
So I'm kind of out here on my own figuring this all out, and I'm wondering about getting started with the Sundberg and Partington material. Background: my daughter was recently dx w/Asperger's. She's five and had never received any ABA. She's in a self-contained class w/in the SD. She has quite a lot of language--tests at age level, though there are significant gaps. She can read a bit (v. simple books). I've been working w/her on my own and recently got the SD to agree to a consultant, yay. What I'm wondering is, how advanced is the curriculum? I've worked w/the Maurice book, and she knows most of what's in the curriculum there. I've also worked w/the Teach Me Language book, but that's really more effective if the child can read fairly well, and I guess I'm looking for a more holistic diagnosis/program. Does any of this make sense?
