The programs you are using seem to be good ideas. Maybe you should just slow

down, work on the easier skills for a while, and revitalize the pairing so that

he feels good about the instructional situation again. Then be very careful how

you up the ante again in terms of skills difficulty.

Just a couple of thoughts for whatever they're worth...
