For those of you not aware, part of ELIJA's MISSION is to offer

scholarships to special educators and other's who are pursuing their

career to work with our targeted population of children in the Long

Island New York Area. We would fund training to a select group of

individuals that would provide a greater concentration on Functional

Assessment and Behavioral Improvement Planning. Our goal is to create

a larger pool of BCaBA's and BCBA's in our area.

The scholarship will entail funding 90 hours of course work &

required mentorship/supervision (Coursework with Dr Vince Carbone and

supervision/mentorship with Dr. Bobby Newman) that would partially

fill their requirements to sit for the National Behavior Analysis

Certification Board examination. Elija asks of the recipients to in

turn offer free training seminars one time a month on a rotation

basis for educators and parents to gain a greater understanding of

the science and how it can be applied to children with ASD . These

training seminars will be offered FREE of charge to attendees.

You can review our scholarship application at:

http://elija.org/Scholarship.html

Please submit all the required information detailed on the link above

as soon as possible (preferably by November 30th) in order to be

considered for next year's scholarship.

Thank you in advance for your submissions.
