Want to work with autistic children

Hi,

My name is and I live in Louisiana. I am a senior in high

school getting ready for college. I have worked at a an autism camp

for the past to summers and have fallen in love with the kids. I have

appiled to the University of North Texas were I was planning on

majoring in Applied Behavioral Anaysis. I think my parents have talked

me out of going there my freshman year but they want me to stay home

and I am still not certain what I want to do. I am very interested in

working with autistic children. I don't really understand exactly what

I would be doing with this major and am kinda scared that I would go

to school for four years and not be satisfied. I am looking for advice

anyone has to give me. Thanks!
