I've just got to plan it out, and wake my lazy but up! >> Hi . I too have two little ones, almost 3 yrs and 18 months, and work out at home so I can relate! I know the book stresses that it is much better to do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach but there isnt' anything regarding doing the weights in the morning. DH and I do our weight training in the evenings around 9 or 9:30pm after the kids are in bed. It works very well for us this way. Maybe it might be easier for you too? By the way, I just finished my 9th week and am very pleased with my results. I've only lost a few lbs (from 144 to139) but have seen big changes in my overall physique. I'd say I'm down about 2 sizes (from 12 to an 8). So dont worry about the the scale weight!

It gets a little stubbly after 2-3 days and he shaves again. He uses his regular razor but I'm not sure how he went about doing it his first time. I guess he did one small section at a time, rinsed the razor, etc. He tried Nair after his initial shave and said it didn't work for him. He also started using a self tanner on his chest which was always so pale before because he never took of his shirt outside because he didn't feel comfortable with his body. His face and arms were very tan because he's outside a lot playing golf. Now he's lean and evenly tan all over. I'm pretty pleased with HIS results! Because every day I see people get >better from " snake oil " treatments, yet cancer rates keep rising and >convention treatments keep failing. Some cancer rates are falling and cure rates for many cancers are improving all the time, but my query is " Vince, why should we not regard you as all talk " ? You were putting down Art by implying that you could do ever much better, but you never bloody do!!! You are here regularly encouraging people to believe that effective alternative cancer treatments exist and that you have deep insider knowledge and experience. But I have not seen you put your money where your mouth is by revealing any alternative treatment that you know definitely works with more consistency than any other, or even which approaches might have a measurable cure rate for advanced cancer. I want to know this for myself, if you know of one. My dad has inoperable cancer. I don't swallow your pretence that the alternative cancer cure industry has progressed to the degree of sophistication that it can recommend specific treatments for particular cancers (except Saw Palmetto for prostate Ca). You typically imply this in your responses to inquiries. Are you merely relying on unverifiable second or third hand accounts of people " getting better " , like the rest of us? Or is your silence on such due to there being no pattern in what you observe, in which case you may be merely observing random events like spontaneous resolution, or a power of faith that may work for an occasional person? We get unexpected survivors and remissions in conventional medicine too. It is time the alternative cancer industry and individuals within in like yourself offered something better, and that those seeking accurate information demanded it more. Your next-to-last post at least seemed to be offering a dose of reality. I respect that you reject some treatments as useless. Enumerating those in forums like this might be a valuable service if you are unable to contribute anything more positive. That's good, but it would be illustrative if you took the success rates for these treatments and compared them to the success rates of those not having the treatments, and then reported your findings. The data is out there and it's not hard to find. Why the need to guess? -- Tel 07092057581 ICQ 40628243
Guest guest
I have seen in my son, and in another child with PDD, the difficulty in getting them to say " I don't know " if they don't know the answer to a question. We have tried over and over to get Sam to say " I don't know " , but sometimes he'll perseveratively say something about it. Mom: Sam what's this? Sam: It's yellow. Mom: Yes, but what is it? Sam: It's yellow. Mom: Sam, what's this? I don't know. Sam: (lost in space-stims) Naomi, mom to Sam (4yo, autistic/SID) and (15mo, NT-into everything!) Guest guest
Dear Loretta Slater, Happy that you found this site helpful. Your experience and knowledge carried you through...never doubt that for one minute! What Joe and I offer on our sites is motivational nudges and knowledge. You my dear did it all! Any one can buy a book, or read a document. But if they do not study it or 'experience' learning with it, they will not grasp the concepts that are needed to pass the exam. CONGRATULATIONS!
