Guest guest
H.R. 5078: The Mental Health Service Expansion Act is legislation designed to increase mental health professionals who wish to provide serrvices to children. There is a good chance that this Act will come up in the lame duck session of Congress. This Act is of particular interest to behavior analyst's because (1) It provides tuition scholarships (2) sets up a mechanism for loan repayment (3) establishes training grants (4) establishes grants for graduate students Once again, Behavior Analysis is forgotten in the wording of the bill- let's get it put in. Please write your congress person or better yet call your congress person and schedule an appointment to see them in this election year and let them know what is important to you. Joe Cautilli, M.Ed., M.Ed., BCBA, LPC P.S. Please pass to those who might be interested. Also, feel free to check out this and other important legilation that may effect you at www.behavior-analyst-online.org in the user center.
