,

I've had to once again sign off the listserv (couldn't keep up with all the mail

I get) and desperately need to have a large audience to pull from. Below is

the post. Please let me know if this is okay for you!

One of the members of our local group is gong to pull her son from sp ed to

place him in gen ed and pay for his aide (to provide a better learning

environment). The principal is okay with this, but the sped director is not.

She is urgently looking for others who have personally paid for their child's

aide (in public school) and details of how they went about doing that. Please

email DSANI4U@... if you've been in this situation (or know personally of

someone who has). Thank you so very much!

I hope everyone has a very joyous Holiday season & Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Deb

PLease include DSANI4U@... in the response.

I would also have to ask to see the credentials of this " aide " . $35 per hour

is a pretty hefty rate for an " aide " . What is this person's role? What is

his/her experience? What experience does this person have?

You know when you're sitting on a chair and you lean back so you're just on

two legs then you lean too far and you almost fall over but at the last

second you catch yourself? I feel like that all the time.

We could learn a lot from crayons:

some are sharp, some are pretty,

some are dull, some have weird names,

and all are different colors....but

they all exist very nicely in the same box.

Remember to include a new crayon in your life today.
