Before you GIVE anything learn from our mistakes and TAKE OUT TAKE OUT

first...take out foods that could be inflaming his gut or giving him

yeast issues...get him stooling normally...and see where that takes

you...rule out constipation and gut issues and then start giving stuff

for yeast etc....but if it is gut and bowels all the treatments will

make things worse not better...so look to the gut, the poo, and

diet...and THEN look to supps and the rest... -- In

Absolutely agree with that, for us tiptoeing was strictly linked to gut

and what ds was eating.... it stopped with change of diet and tackling

gut issues with other things, but for a long time it was essential that

we did not feed him sugars or CHOCOLATE (even dairy free sugar free) or

he would start again... hopefully when the gut heals you can get less

exclusive with diet but for now look at what foods may be bothering him

Papaso 131,

You may not think he is constipated but he may be.We did have issues with my son for many years, diarrhea or constipation back and forth. One time we took him to the hospital thinking his pain was from a UTI,it wasn't.Doctor suggested xray. She found he was backed up quite a bit and suggested enemas for awhile until we could figure out what the problem was.He had been having a bm everyday so I was surprised. The old stuff still remained in his GI tract and it was causing alot of behaviors.Tip toeing sounds like impaction to me.

I hope u figure it out.:)

Ours ran on her tip toes, never walked on them. She wasn't constipated that we knew of but thinking her balance was so affected that this was the way she kept her equilibrium when running. Although the most common cause of tip toe walking is probably constipation, there can be other reasons.
