I might be able to find a reason for me to live...but when I jump over there and try to tell you why you should live a problem develops. I found your - Is she saying that we might as well be dead? - humorous. We are dead - we don't become alive until we know who we are. For me until I do know who I am I'm just one of the deluded dead. But I am grateful. So does that make me one of the .... grateful dead? Blessings - Jan

Guest guest
Yes go to the FIber Menace site and read his take on the exact symptoms described, get hydro c to ease the transition to a healing very low carb low to no fiber diet and cut sugar and soy in addition to gluten and casein for now. The symptoms you are describing are reversible and pretty quickly....it gets more complicated if it turns into ust diahrea all the time. The book has vertain chapters not on the site and you will find yourself going back to it again and again as his symptoms change and his gut heals. My kid was a responder to antiviral therapy so I would look at the viral angle, but diet changes and norm, alizing stools - not that we have even done it yet, just working on it..gave us no more autism and just learning delays, perhpas PDD nos now, and emerging language...good luck. Read his site and normalize the stooling pattern as soon as possible...Di > > What safe herbal supplements should I start my son on for excessive > hand flapping, covering ears, and toe walking? Guest guest
Christy, I forgot till I saw this, she did and still does flap her hands when she's telling a story and really excited. And she did when she was really little cover her ears when there were loud noises. She does have some sensory issues...never heard of that till about six months ago either > > What safe herbal supplements should I start my son on for excessive > hand flapping, covering ears, and toe walking? Guest guest
Hi, I just wanted to mention that you don't need the " permission " of your pediatrician to start your son on herbal or non-herbal supplements. If your ped is one who (unfortunately) do not see autism as a medical condition and just behavioral, you will run into a road block. It is good you are getting your son a formal eval and fantastic that you are contacting a DAN! But just don't wait to start helping your son until your ped thinks it's okay, because that time may really never come. Our ped thinks the multi-vitamins from Kirkmans are borderline abusive, so now we no longer employ them as our ped. You don't need their permission for anything. Just my .02 :-) > > What safe herbal supplements should I start my son on for excessive > hand flapping, covering ears, and toe walking?
