Guest guest
new member here, i thought they stopped making these years ago. i'm sure a few of you remember the discomfort of doing leg exercises while using the rubber coated steel cable versions from the late 70's . at any rate, i saw some X-5's available on the amazon.com site, but the site said the vendor was bullworker japan??!! any reason why i should be cautious here? could this be a different version? Guest guest
I don't know about the X5 from Japan, but I personally have more discomfort and problems using the X5 as compared to the Model 3. I have used the X5,only to return to and stay with the Model 3. This is just my personal preference. Guest guest
I personally prefer the old rubber coated cables over the straps. I worked out for years with an original Bullworker and recently re-acquired a newer model (X5 I believe) with straps. I've found that the straps sometimes get stuck in the handle - something that never happened with the old cable-based version.
