,

Thanks for the welcome. I am really happy to find this group.

You asked:

" I also see you have pernicious anemia. The group has been exploring

the connection between EN and B-12 deficiency. Are you taking

treatment for it? "

I have to take weekly injections for the pernicious anemia. I was

taking 3 cc's a month and they changed it to 1 cc a week as they felt

that better kept it in my bloodstream. My son gives me the injections.

Love

Deb

Dear Deb,

I'm glad you found us too.

Here is the link we have been discussing:

http://www.jabfm.org/cgi/content/full/18/6/567

You can read our past discussion about B-12 in our Messages.

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/erythema_nodosum_Group/messagesearch?query=\

b12 & submit=Go & charset=ISO-8859-1

Probably not a factor you your EN as you are taking the shots, but we

never leave anything unexamined here as you will see.

Love,

Thanks. I wonder how EN figures in with autoimmune disorders.

I was told my pernicious anemia, hypotheroidism, Sarcoidosis, Rheum

and even fibro are autoimmune disorders...amazing how we can get more

than one. They even suspected MS on me but I just got so tired of testing.

But, is EN a part of the autoimmune family?

An interesting fact here with this flair..I have been in TN with my

parents...my father is dying and while there..I did not get my shots

for four weeks...I come home to a flair...big time.

love

Deb
