Guest guest
Hello my family. There's been some heavy conversations about forgiving ourselves, and moving on from people who have hurt us. I wanted to share this poem with you all in hopes that it might help some of you. I wrote this for my step-father. A Fork in the Road You've controlled me, and you abused me. You've made me the color red. You washed me to the color white. I see a hurt deep in your eyes. There's nothing I can do for you. I create myself as the color violet, a free flame of transfiguration! A judgeless being of experience. An example as a fork in the road. A despised inspiration. I cry for your pain But am in no way bound by your side. Control is an illusion. A manifestation of fear and pain. I love you all! -Stefanie
