Guest guest
Nice story. Thanks Tom. Finding her puppy was the best medicine of all. One of my dogs took off for 2 days before he was found. I was a mess. Patient was checking out the other day, and chit-chatting with receptionist about what was really upsetting her. “My 9-month old puppy (big) ran away from home, and I am afraid for his life because of the wintry conditions outside. He has a skin condition made worse by the cold.” She checks out and goes out to the parking lot. Cell phone of our office manager rings. “Mom, there is a big puppy, with a hurt paw cruising the backyard, messing with our dogs”. Dr , chuckling, says, “Check out the dog tag, I bet it is our patient’s dog.” Yup. Sure enough it was her dog. And we were able to catch her before she left the parking lot. True story. -tom PVMED
