Thank you Dorothy for those kind words,, you're a great member here and we are like family even tho most of us have never met face to face.. who knows, maybe someday we will! Your input here is the best kind of support and you've never failed to share what you've been through which IS the best kind of support,,, thank you for the prayers,, I know that God does listen to us,, I know that! Dorothy wrote: You’ve been one of my greatest supporters and I can’t tell you how much that means to me. We are total strangers and far apart, yet we are the closest of friends brought together by this common issue. I hope that I can encourage someone one day when they need the support. It means so much when someone is afraid of not only dealing with a serious illness, but afraid of what could be the fight of their life in taking on the treatment. I also believe that God listens and I’ll remember you in my prayers. Dorothy From: Hepatitis_C_Central [mailto:Hepatitis_C_Central ] On Behalf Of Jackie onSent: Friday, February 01, 2008 10:37 PMTo:

dorothy, you trully are remarkable, you have been thru so much and your still there right on top of it all, im proud of you and you are a power of exzampleDorothy wrote: Now you’ve got me wondering about my values. My last WBC was 4 with a normal range listed of 4 to 11. My platelets were within range at 187 with normal listed as 150 to 450. I do have a number of items

that fall out of range, but my gastro has never seemed concerned. That last lab work was while on Procrit. I’ve been off it now 2 weeks & will have new blood drawn on Monday…….spent 2 hours at the ophthalmologist today & it was pouring so I skipped the lab and just came home. The eye doc put me back on eye drops to treat glaucoma. My pressure was 19 today in both eyes (15

last week.) I was on drops originally, but stopped on my own and when my pressure seemed stabilized, he agreed to let me do that – until today. Now it’s drops TWICE a day instead of once and the RX is a combination of my old drop with another he said has neurological protective values. When I asked him what I should tell my gastro about his feelings on my eye issues, he said – “the more interferon, the better!” He feels that the tx of my HCV can only help my eye problem. Shot #21 in about an hour from now……………3 more to go!!! I see the light at the end of the old tunnel J Seem to be having some of those damn RA problems though……….jeez, I see THAT doctor a week from today!
