I am completely pro-life, but I want to mention that overturning Roe V Wade will NOT make abortions illegal or create back alley abortions like so many people think will happen. It WILL give the authority to the states to decide. I think almost all of us can agree that healthy full term babies should not be aborted, and that partial birth abortion should be stopped. Most of the United States favors abortions in the first trimester and are against late term abortions. So it would be great if we could move in that direction as a nation or even state by state. This is a complex issue, but we should start on common ground like supporting legislation that include things like the 2 items I mentioned above and respectfully go from there working together from both sides.

I am also completely pro-life,

but I understand that this Pandora’s box can probably never be

closed. Even if it was deemed illegal, the medical community knows how to

word procedures differently to obtain the same results. I believe you are

correct that this issue should be regulated at the state level, and IMHO public

funding for any abortion should not happen. I hope one day that partial

birth abortion and late term abortions can be deemed completely illegal and prosecuted

as if someone was killed. (trying to use as gentle language as possible

because I’m not about flaming)
