Guest guest
Unfortunately I know from experience that most of those so called attempts to mail something never occurred. They always claim their office sent them and then they later report to me it was 'just sitting there' and was sent out right away. Lazy erroneous people in the offices these days! Then there is email. I arrogantly thought that email was extremely reliable (due to the nature of computers and QA people like me) until I kept reading about email being dumped by anti-SPAM programs, etc. And one email that took a year to get delivered! That was years ago when I started to get the unreliable delivery concept. But it still had to be hammered into my head. I was taught on UNIX which is 99.9% reliable (it only crashed during my Evil of Evil tests) and still have the reliability concepts ingrained in my brain. The first was that my lawyer said he put a packet of photos in the mail that he took of work that has been done on my place in Alabama. The second thing was that an item I bought on Ebay from a fellow in Japan was put in the mail, albeit express mail for the tracking and insurance. The package from Japan arrived today. No sign of the pictures yet. I have my doubts that they ever will. Last time they sent me pictures, it was the third try before they actually got here, which means two sets are lost in the winds somewhere. This latest set will probably join them. I might take a picture of the new addition to my collection and post it, if I can decide to take it out of the box or not, LOL. No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG.
