Guest guest
It seems Matt has a dog tapeworm...I spoke with the folks at Humaworm. When I left a message asking about their cleanse products for children vs ia brand the owner called me back and said please do not use WORMWOOD on children....we made a cleanse appropriate for children that specifically leaves that ingredient out and also helps the liver. " It isn't roundworms though, dear. Small tiny rice shaped grains in the poo, the diaper, or around a red itchy anus- that is a dog tapeworm and your child has had it for some time now... " He went on to explain how Matt probably got it and the sort of symptoms it can create... One remark caught my attemtion though...apprently when the body is ridding itself of toxins related to the waste products of some parasites including this subspecies of tapeworm you can see crazy flourescent green or really bright green feces or really bright orange and other odd colors that cannot be mistaken for anything ingested. You will know it if you see it, it is that odd - and totally common during the cleanse, but it is quite a shocker for parents if they are not told before hand what that is...you may also see some black stools. The stools should normalize after you finish the cleanse though, the distended belly should flatten out, and we want you to call us and let us know about any other improvements bc he should have fewer malabsorption issues too since a tapeworm will not be getting the nutrition anymore from what he does eat. We have had some really nice feedback from other parents with kids on the spectrum. Call me back personally during the cleanse if you have any questions. We have been helping families for years with this sort of thing. " I will let everyone know how Matt fares with this product as we have been battling the distended tummy and chronic constipation motility issues for a few months now. I know I have seen the weird colored poo questions on this site so I thought I would pass this along. I think others have also found the little rice thingies in their kid's diapers... He advised me not to do a cleanse while breastfeeding and not to give anything to the baby despite the fact that some products say safe for infants...
