Guest guest Posted December 12, 2008 Report Share Posted December 12, 2008 I was listening to Mehmet Oz on Oprah xm radio today, I love that show. Today seriously disturbed me though. The guest was a journalist named Brownlee who talked about her book Overtreated. She made lots of great points regarding drug use and creation of illness because we have something to treat it wit etc.. But the disturbing part was that her conclusion is we have a problem with healthcare DELIVERY, not reimbursement and the best way to handle healthcare reform is to pay big companies like Kaiser, Mayo, Cleveland clinic enough to have all healthcare delivered by giant systems like Kaiser now. YIKES!! I am concerned people will listen to her!
