Guest guest
No, my son's speech did not return. It was only a few words and not very clear. That was several years ago when TD-LDN first came on the scene. I honestly don't know to this day if it was the LDN. My son had several "windows" of speech where he would say some words and had some word approximations. Then they would disappear. It could have just been a coincidence on the timing but it did occur less than a week into the smallest dose of TD-LDN. My son is a tough nut kid. We have done many, many interventions (including ABA)over the years and he is still severely affected by autism and Nonverbal. He also has CVID, Hypothroidism, and PANDAS. Guest guest
I'm sorry Pamela. Thank you for sharing this. We are also noticing the words decrease into the first week of LDN. I think I might stop it because if we continue and lose more words I would feel awful. He's gone from talking in mostly two word combos (though very unclear and poor pronounciation) to single words or grunting and groaning just within the week of starting LDN. Thanks again. gfcfmom > > No, my son's speech did not return. It was only a few words and not very clear. That was several years ago when TD-LDN first came on the scene. Guest guest
I sw this and it freaks me for you...I would stop if that were my kiddo esp given Pamelas experience and if possible I would put him on broth and easy to digest foods and up the oils and probiotics for the next several days...and use prefered food if you are going to give them to encourage words and only give for words words words...good luck. > > > > No, my son's speech did not return. Guest guest
What is LDN? My daughter is on Valtrex about 3wks.....last week we heard more speech/language and the past few days almost nothing. I just assumed it was the regression everyone was talking about. Is it? I'm starting to freak out alittle reading some of these posts. Thanksdiatplay wrote: I sw this and it freaks me for you...I would stop if that were my kiddo esp given Pamelas experience and if possible I would put him on broth and easy to digest foods and up the oils and probiotics for the next several days...and use prefered food if you are going to give them to encourage words and only give for words words words...good luck. > >> > No, my son's speech did not return. Guest guest
Thanks. I have stopped the LDN cream - I am totally freaked out, hoping it's just a crazy die off phase with all my heart. Time will tell in a few days I guess. > > > > > > No, my son's speech did not return. It was only a few words and > not very clear. That > > was several years ago when TD-LDN first came on the scene. Guest guest
The Anne Connolly test is a test for brain inflammation. It is common for it to be positive among tough nuts or Nonresponder kids. (like mine) Pamela
