Guest guest
I see the nasal and subcutaneous methods mentioned in this group, but haven't read anything on the transdermal gel. Just wondering if there was a reason why. Is the gel inferior to the other modes of application? le
Guest guest
The transdermal we use is through prescription. Our DAN doesn't do any other method, which is what I was concerned about in my intial message (was wondering if transdermal worked just as well as other applications). Thank you for those who responded. I didn't have any experience to compare it to and just wanted to make I wasn't making a mistake on my kid by not giving him a 'better' form of medication. le Re: transdermal mb12 We used the shots for years before switching to the transdermal. My son started with daily shots when he was 4. He is now nine. He was a big responder at the time. After a year we cut back to every 2-3 days and you would notice when it wore off (lower frustration level, more anxious, irritable, etc.) I started using the transdermal in desperation because a bit over a year ago my son started to refuse the shots and his behavior had begun to decline to the point that it was seriously affecting school work. I had always given the shots to him in his sleep with no issues, and all of a sudden he was waking a the slightest touch and refusing to let me do the shot. To my surprise the transdermal worked better! We have seen less highs and lows and it just seems to work better overall. It goes against what some may of the "experts" say, but it really works for us. And so much cheaper and easier!!!
Guest guest
Originally I had it made up through the compounding pharmacy (no prescription required), but then I found a place you could order it on line and that works just as well for much less! see: www.springboard4health.com > > The transdermal we use is through prescription.
