valtrex dosing question, please advice

Today I receive my son Herpes type 6 IgM and the resulte was 50.2

(abnormal is > 29), I schedule an appointment with with his doctor for

tomorrow, the first thing that came to my mind to ask was for Valtrex,

my son is 4, weight is 37 lbs. How much is usually recommended, how

many times a day, what lab to monitor, and if there is a particular

schedule/rotation. Thank you
