Listmates,

My son is on his 4th month of Rx-Anti-fungal rotating between

Diflucan and Nizoral. Last week, our DAN added 2 capsules of Kirkman

Yeast Aid to treat a protozoan parasite but she does not want us to

stop the Diflucan. He is also taking Klaire Ther-biotic complete.

In the last week, he has started hand-flapping (which he has NEVER

done before) and is all of a sudden having sensory issues with

sound. Haven't seen this since last summer.

Do you think this is too much anti-fungal causing these symptoms? I

am tempted to stop the Diflucan for the 30 days that she wants us to

do the Yeast Aid.

His last labs on 3/28 show no yeast on the stool test but Arabinose

at 94.0 on OAT.

Really need some opinions on this one.

Thanks so much

Just so you are aware, Kirkman's Yeast Aid contains crospovidone.

Kirkman's will not tell me what studies show that it is safe for

consumption.

This study has got me worried, even though it is about injection not

consumption:
