Guest guest
Socialization is very difficult to coordinate , when typical peers are not readily available. Many parents agonize over approaching parents of typical children to set up a structured and teacher guided playdate. The most understanding parents would be those of children with similar diagnosis. The ELIJA foundation has created this area, so that parents can network with one another, to find possible matches for peer socialization. The ELIJA foundation is here to encourage you to make a relationship with other parents. However, we are not responsible for the families who network with one another and who post on this site. This is simply a portal for those who are looking for peers for their children as well as those who have a typical child who may be a good match for socialization for another family. We suggest a thorough interview process between families and perspective peer matches. We hope this will be a beneficial part of our website. http://www.elija.org/SocializationNetwork.html
