I don't know the difference but Candex worked great for my boys in conjunction w/natural antifungals.

It was from An ANTI-INFECTIVE approach:

at CHILDRENS Corner school website:

Antifungal Alternatives

Candex

Candex is an enzyme that breaks down the cell wall of Candida. I see

reports of it working well on Candida and affecting intestinal

health. Candex often seems to cause short-term diarrhea as the

Candida dies off.

There are many non-medication remedies said to help with fungus and

products like Candex are worth trying but when doing antiviral

therapy we have not seen reports of non-medication remedies working

well by themselves. It seems that azole antifungal medications

(Nizoral, Diflucan, and Sporanox) or Amphotericin B or Lamicil work

best.

It is very possible for these and other natural remedies to help our

children in ways beyond what is listed in the medical literature but

you cannot tell until you do a trial.
