Guest guest
Thanks for this link, . Omega 3 is a hot topic on my WG list. One lady says eating all her Omega 3's has helped put her into remission. I'm tapering on my pred (down to 9 mg a day now, for two weeks, then I get to try 8 mg, if that works!), so I really want to " beef " up my Omega 3 for its anti-inflammatory powers. It also sounds like I'll be in a good mood while I do it! I've got some stress, good stress, but still stress, going on. My daughter is getting married May 27th! She wanted me to make her dress and her bridesmaids dresses! Must be too much pred and chemo--I'm doing it! I'm about to make the dress for the second time, but I think I've got it now! It turned out to be a lot harder than I thought! I kept snagging the material because my nails and surrounding skin were so dry and cracked from winter heat and pred and who knows what else. That's better now, so I shouldn't snag the fabric so much the second time. And with all my Omega 3, I'll be so relaxed and happy! The bridemaids' outfits are a white sleeveless top and a skirt that is red and has flounces. It's a crepe-backed satin material. My husband is Mexican-American, so my kids are half. I told my daughter they were salsa skirts! It would probably be tacky to attached little chili peppers to the flounces, wouldn't it? See, that Omega 3 is working already. Thanks, again, ! Guest guest
Hi Joan, I'm sure you know that salmon is supposed to be good for the skin too, so it might help with the dryness. I could never attempt to make a wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses myself. The way I put in zippers, they would have to all be sack dresses with a belt ;-/ What about adding the chili pepper to the floral arrangements on the tables? Or sewing a chili pepper charm to the garter? I think the chili pepper could be a beautiful good luck charm to sneak in somewhere.
